The Arabic School of Portland (ASP) was established in September 2003 as an Arabic immersion school to provide a total language experience to pupils whose parents want them to have the advantage of becoming proficient in the Arabic language in addition to their proficiency in the English language. Therefore, the school teaches the pupils (in grades PreK-12) the Arabic language Arts, Islamic Studies, Social Studies, Math, and Science. All subjects are taught in Arabic.

The ASP is a part-time school designed to complement each student's daily education, whether it be public school, private school, or homeschool.
